Metrorail to Operate its Normal Late Night Saturday Schedule

System to Close at 3 a.m. Eastern Standard Time Sunday

This Saturday, November 3, Metro will operate on its normal weekend schedule until 3 a.m. eastern standard time, even though the clocks are turned back an hour to mark the end of daylight saving-time.

“We will operate on our normal Saturday schedule, providing rail service from 7 a.m. until 3 a.m. this Saturday night into Sunday morning,” said Jim Hughes, Metro’s Managing Director for Operations Services. “We want everyone to know that we will remain open to 3 a.m., despite the time shift to standard time.”

Metro reminds everyone to check the “last train” schedules posted at each rail station and the bus departure times at bus stops and in bus brochures prior to using Metrorail and Metrobus this Saturday.
