Metrobus routes 9E and 10E extended to Braddock Road Metrorail station

Metrobus routes 9E and 10E will extend service to the Braddock Road Metrorail station beginning Monday, Dec. 3, due to the opening of a bridge at Jefferson Davis Highway and Monroe Avenue.

9E Huntington-Pentagon Line
Southbound buses to the Braddock Road the Metrorail station will follow the regular route to Jefferson Davis Highway and Howell Avenue, then continue via the new bridge, Henry (Rt. 1), Madison and West streets to the station.

Northbound buses to the Pentagon will leave the Braddock Road Metrorail station via West, Madison and Patrick streets (Rt. 1), the new bridge and Jefferson Davis Highway to the Pentagon Metrorail station.

Bus stops on Monroe Avenue between Jefferson Davis Highway and Mount Vernon Avenue have been discontinued. New bus stops have been added on Patrick, Henry and Madison streets.

10E Hunting Towers-Pentagon Line
Northbound buses to the Pentagon will leave the Braddock Road Metrorail station via Braddock Road, Mount Vernon Avenue to Monroe Avenue, and continue along the current route.

Southbound to the Braddock Road Metrorail station will follow the current route to Mount Vernon and Monroe avenues, then continue via Mount Vernon Avenue, Braddock Road and West Street to the Braddock Road station.

Bus stops on Monroe Avenue between Jefferson Davis Highway and Mount Vernon Avenue have been discontinued. New bus stops have been added on Mount Vernon Avenue between Monroe Avenue and Braddock Road.
