Metro will be selling the commemorative Nationals SmarTrip® cards from Centerfield Plaza beginning two hours before the games through the seventh inning. Each card costs $5. Only cash will be accepted. The commemorative card has two designs, which fans can choose from- one with the curly “W” Nationals logo and the other depicting the new Nationals Park.

The Nationals SmarTrip® cards function as any SmarTrip® card. A rider must add value to the card to pay for travel on Metrorail and Metrobus, on regional bus systems including ART, CUE, DASH, Ride On, Fairfax Connector, Loudoun County Transit, PRTC and the DC Circulator, and for parking at Metro parking facilities.

Customers can also purchase Nationals SmarTrip® cards on Metro’s Web site at www.wmata.com/nationals, or at Metro sales offices at Metro Center, the Pentagon, Metro headquarters, the Northern, Western, Landover, Royal Street and Four Mile Run Metrobus divisions, and regional transit stores.
