New Metro audiocast available online

The newest Metro audiocast, dated June 20, is now available to customers on www.metroopensdoors.com and on iTunes. “On Track” offers listeners a summary of Metro-related news for the week, and provides an overview of how planned maintenance work or major events in the region may impact their weekend travel.

The “On Track” audiocast posted today tells listeners about elevator rehabilitation projects.

The audiocast also includes information about Metrobus route detours due to the National Capital Barbeque Battle and Peace in the Streets. The audiocast also includes details about the Smithsonian Folk Life Festival which will be held June 25 to 29 and July 2 to 6. The audiocast includes information about upcoming sporting events such as the Washington Mystics games at the Verizon Center on Friday June 20, and the Nationals games on June 20, 21 and 22. There is also information on the Sounds in the Square series on Thursday nights. Thursday June 26, the Reflex will be playing, and will be the second to last band of the free concert series.

Search the podcast area of the iTune store for “On Track” in the title. Podcasts can be subscribed to on iTunes to automatically receive each week’s downloads.
