Holiday Transit Schedules Set for Independence Day 2008
Regional transit schedules for Friday, July 4, Independence Day, are as follows. Metrorail will operate on a special 4th of July schedule (7 a.m. until 3 a.m.). Parking at all transit authority-operated lots will be free. Reduced fares will be in effect all day. No bicycles will be allowed on Metrorail. Metrobus will operate on a Saturday schedule. MetroAccess will operate from 5:30 a.m. to midnight.

ART, ART 41 and 51: operate on Sunday schedules. All other ART routes will NOT operate.
METRORAIL: 4th of July Schedule (7a.m. – 3 a.m.)
Metro Bus: Saturday service
Metro Access: 5:30 a.m.- midnight
CUE: Special Event Service, no regular service
DASH: Sunday service
Ride On: Saturday service
Fairfax Connector: Saturday Service on routes: 101, 109, 151, 152, 161, 162, 171, 310, 321, 322, 401, 425, 505, 574, 605, 950, and RIBS 1, 2, 3, and 4. All other routes will NOT operate
The Bus: No service
CONNECT-A-RIDE: Sunday service routes J, K and Laurel loop. No service: all other routes
PRTC OMNIRIDE: No service
Loudon County: No service
VRE: No service
MTA Services LOCAL BUS: Sunday/Holiday schedule, SUBWAY: Sunday/Holiday schedule 6 a.m. - midnight, LIGHT RAIL: Sunday/Holiday schedule (11 a.m. – 7 p.m. and will operate 1 hour after fireworks display,
MARC: No Service
