New Metro Audiocast Available Online

The newest Metro audiocast, dated July 18, is now available to customers on www.metroopensdoors.com and on iTunes. “On Track” offers listeners a summary of Metro-related news for the week, and provides an overview of how planned maintenance work or major events in the region may impact their weekend travel.

The “On Track” audiocast posted today tells listeners about Metrorail track work that will cause delays on the Blue and Yellow lines between Pentagon City and Braddock Road. There is also information on street construction on Seminary Road which affects bus lines 28A, 28B, 7, 25 and 28G.

There is information on elevator rehabilitations at the Anacostia and the Potomac Avenue Metroroaol station. Additionally, the audiocast tells listeners about parking lots closed for maintenance. The audiocast includes information on upcoming sporting events such as the DC United game on July 19, Washington Mystics games on July 18 and 20, and Washington Kastles games on July 20, 22 and 23. The audiocast also tells listeners about the ongoing third annual Fringe Festival and the Grand Slam Poetry Finals at the Lincoln Theatre and how to get there by Metro.
