Metro seeks customer input on Metrobus routes 28A and 28B


Public meetings to take place on November 6 and 12

Metro is hosting two public meetings to discuss the Metrobus 28 Line study with customers. The study will develop recommendations to improve bus service on Metrobus routes 28A and 28B, which travel between King Street Metrorail station in Alexandria and Tyson's Corner Center in Fairfax County.

The bus line connects some of Northern Virginia's highest density residential and commercial neighborhoods including Old Town Alexandra, Southern Towers, Bailey's Crossroads, Seven Corners and Tyson's Corner.

The meetings will focus on identifying customer issues with the existing bus service and discussing ideas and opportunities for improving service.

The first meeting will take place in Spanish at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, November 6, at Corpus Christi School, 3305 Glen Carlyn Road. A second meeting will take place in English at 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, at the Westin Hotel, 7801 Leesburg Pike in Tyson's Corner.
