Metro, DDOT to present findings of Neighborhood Circulation Study


Residents encouraged to participate in effort to improve transit

Metro and the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) are inviting District of Columbia residents to review the preliminary findings of the DC Neighborhood Circulation Study. The purpose of the study is to ensure that all District neighborhoods have the proper surface transit service to support mobility and accessibility.

Four public meetings are scheduled in December to present the findings of the study and potential service improvements. All meetings begin with an open house at 6:30 p.m., followed by a presentation from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Meeting dates and locations are as follows:

Trinidad Area
Tuesday, December 9
Trinidad Recreation Center, 1310 Childress Street, NE

Capitol View/Benning Heights Area
Wednesday, December 10
6th District Police Station, 100 42nd Street, NE

Northwest Area
Thursday, December 11
Trinity AME Zion Church, 3505 16th Street, NW (Use Oak Street entrance)

Bellevue Area
Tuesday December 16
The Specialty Hospital of Washington Hadley, 4601 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, SW
