Metro's Smithsonian and Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter Metrorail stations to reopen after Inauguration Parade
Customers advised to use other stations that day
The Smithsonian Metrorail station on the Blue and Orange lines and the Archives-Navy Memorial Penn-Quarter Metrorail station on the Green and Yellow lines will reopen following the Inauguration parade at approximately 6:30 p.m., on Tuesday, January 20.
Both stations will be closed due to security reasons and for the Inauguration parade.
People can also sign up for special e-alerts, dedicated to the Inauguration, on Metro’s Web site at http://www.wmata.com/inauguration. E-alerts will be issued when Metro has news relating to service for the Inauguration, and, perhaps more importantly, when there may be service disruptions during the course of the four-day Inauguration Weekend.
