Metro' new Kiss-and-Ride Lot opens Monday at the Wheaton Metrorail station

Metro’s new Kiss-and-Ride parking facility at the Wheaton Metrorail station on the Red Line opens on Monday, June 1.

The new Kiss-and-Ride lot is a two-level facility located beneath the new MetroPointe apartment complex at the corner of Georgia Avenue and Reedie Drive. It can be accessed from the garage entrance on Reedie Drive. The facility will accommodate passenger pick-up and drop-off, shuttles, taxis and short-term parking.

The new facility was constructed as part of a joint development project constructed above the Wheaton Metrorail station. The project includes the MetroPointe Apartments that are part of the on-going revitalization of the Wheaton.
