Express fares to be charged on two Metrobus lines

Fare change on the J7, J9 and W19 begins June 28

Metrobus riders who board the J7, J9 I-270 Express buses in Montgomery County and the W19 Indian Head Express in Prince George’s County will pay express fares instead of the current local fare beginning Sunday, June 28.

Riders pay $3 with a SmarTrip® card and $3.10 with cash for express Metrobus service.
