Weekend track maintenance to affect Metro's Blue, Orange and Green lines

Blue, Orange, and Green Line customers should add 30 minutes of time this weekend

Track maintenance on the Blue, Orange and Green lines this weekend (June 26-28) will cause inbound and outbound trains to take turns sharing one track. Customers should add 30 minutes of time to their trips.

As result of this week’s train accident on the Red Line, weekend track maintenance originally scheduled between Dupont Circle and Van Ness-UDC and between Silver Spring and Forest Glen has been cancelled. This maintenance work will be rescheduled for a later date.
