Metro General Manager to host online chat this Friday

Focus of chat to be Red Line collision, steps Metro is taking to ensure safety

Metro General Manager John Catoe will respond directly to questions about Monday’s fatal collision on the Red Line and steps Metro is taking to ensure the safety of the Metrorail system during an online chat this Friday, June 26, when he hosts a live hour-long chat from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Only questions that are submitted live during the chat will be answered.

Metro customers can log onto the chat at http://www.wmata.com/onlinechat.cfm or via Metro’s homepage at www.metroopensdoors.com. As many questions as possible will be answered during the hour-long session.

An archive of all of the previous online chats is posted on the web site. Persons without Internet access can call Metro’s Customer Service Office at 202-637-1328 to request a session transcript.
