Shuttle bus service established during elevator upgrade at Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan Metrorail station

Work expected to take two weeks

Elevator upgrades that relate to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) will take place from December 2 to16 on the platform and street elevators at Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan Metrorail Station, during which time they will be out of service. A temporary shuttle bus is available for customers who request it.

Customers who normally enter or exit at the Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan Metrorail Station and who are unable to use the escalator should call 202-962-1825 in advance to have a shuttle bus waiting at the Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan Station to take them to the Cleveland Park Station to enter the Metrorail system. The bus is stationed in the area to accommodate these customers.

The ADA upgrades include the repositioning and resizing of the elevator controls to ease use by the disabled community and adds visual and audible information to assist our visually impaired and hearing impaired customers.
