Metro pass system changes begin week of June 29

As Metro implements its new fare structure starting Sunday, June 29, several Metro passes will change or be phased out. The Metrobus 28-Day Pass and 28-Day Express Pass will be discontinued as will the Metrorail 28-Day Fast Pass and the Metrorail Senior-Disabled farecards. The Commuter Tickets will be discontinued, but will be accepted through December 31, 2003. Also eliminated is the 10 percent bonus on farecard purchases of $20 or more.
