This week at Metro (Monday, Sept. 8, 2003)

Reroute to Southbound W19 in Indian Head, Maryland, to be effective September 25, 2003

Effective September 25, 2003, Metrobus will make a minor rerouting to the southbound W19 and to southbound non-revenue trips (trips with no passengers) entering W19 service for passengers in Indian Head, Maryland. The Town of Indian Head requested the rerouting to eliminate damage, attributed to bus operations, to Dr. Mitchell Lane on the tournaround loop.

Beginning Monday, September 25, W19 revenue and non-revenue trips will use Walter Thomas Road instead of Dr. Mitchell lane between Lackey Drive and Cornwallis Square.

Trips times and bus stops will not be impacted by this change. For more information on riding Metrobus and Metrorail, customers can log on to www.metroopensdoors.com or call 202-637-7000; TTY 202-638-3780.
