Metro’s online trip planner, The Ride Guide, has revised fare changes

Customers can now calculate new fare changes

Metrorail and Metrobus customers who want to know how Metro’s new fares will affect their trips can do so before the new fares go into effect on Sunday, June 27.

Metro customers can log onto Metro’s web-based Ride Guide at http://rideguide.wmata.com/ to plan a Metro trip. To ensure that the Ride Guide calculates the trip based on the new fare structure, customers just have to type in a date of June 27 or later. The Ride Guide will calculate a trip’s cost based on the new fares. If a customer is taking a trip prior to June 27, the Ride Guide will calculate the cost of the trip based on the current fares.

For customers not wired to the Internet, or for those who still wish to speak to a "real" person, the customer call center provides quick and accurate rider information at (202) 637-7000 or TDD (202) 638-3780.
