Free Columbia Pike Metrobus service offered for Columbia Pike Blues Festival

Metrobus service on Columbia Pike will be free on Sunday, June 5, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in support of the Columbia Pike Blues Festival. Metrobus routes 16B and 16J, the Columbia Pike Line, and 16G, the Columbia Heights West-Pentagon City Line, will offer the free fares on Sunday.

Arlington County requested the free bus rides on Columbia Pike as a way to encourage attendance at the Columbia Pike Blues Festival at Columbia Pike and Walter Reed Drive. The Arlington County Division of Transportation has agreed to pay Metro for offering the free trips.
