Metro Records 9th Highest Ridership Day in History

Metrorail reached its ninth highest weekday ridership in its 29-year history yesterday (Tuesday, June 7, 2005) with 750,280 trips taken. Combined with Metrobus ridership, that means Metro provided approximately 1.3 million trips yesterday.

Typical weekday ridership usually sees anywhere between 670,000 to 690,000 customers taking trips on Metrorail.
