Metro reports 458,605 Metrorail passengers as of 10 p.m on July 4

As of 10 p.m. today, Monday, the Fourth of July, Metro reports that 458,605 passengers had entered the Metrorail system. One year ago, (July 4, 2004), there were 305,041 passengers who had entered the Metrorail system by the same time.

As of 10 p.m. today, Metro reported no significant operational problems or delays on either Metrorail or Metrobus.

The most crowded stations have been Federal Triangle, L’Enfant Plaza, Archives Navy-Memorial/Penn Quarter, Stadium-Armory, Metro Center and Union Station.
