Metro Board to Host Town Hall Meeting Tomorrow Night

Got a comment, complaint or question about Metro" The transit agency’s Board of Directors will be all ears tomorrow night at a Town Hall Meeting in College Park.

Metro riders will have the opportunity to talk to members of the Metro Board as well as senior management on a variety of issues dealing with Metrorail, Metrobus and MetroAccess.

This meeting will include an open house, which is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. The Town Hall Meeting will begin at 7 p.m., and conclude at 9 p.m. in the FDA Auditorium, 5100 Paint Branch Parkway, across the street from the College Park Metrorail station.

This is Metro’s third Town Hall Meeting. The first was held last November in D.C., followed by another in Falls Church in April. WJLA-TV (Channel 7) reporter John Harter will be the moderator for this meeting.

The public is invited to sign up to speak during the open house and the meeting.

Metro riders can view exhibits, pick up some additional information and talk to officials about a variety of topics including future bus projects, safety and security, dedicated funding, new rail cars and employment opportunities during the open house.
