Metrorail Staying Open Until 2 a.m. on Thursday, October 20,To Accommodate Crowds for the University of Maryland Football Game

On Thursday night, the Metrorail system will stay open until 2 a.m. on Friday morning to accommodate the large crowds expected to attend Thursday’s college football game between the University of Maryland Terrapins and the Virginia Tech Hokies at College Park, Md.

Metro will have additional personnel at the College Park Metrorail station on the Green Line and if necessary, will have several additional trains ready to enter service depending on the size of the crowds after the game.
