Metro records 11th highest ridership day in history
Metrorail reached its 11th highest weekday ridership in its 30-year history yesterday (Thursday, March 30th) with 760,042 trips taken. Combined with Metrobus ridership, that means Metro provided approximately 1.2 million trips yesterday.
Typical weekday rail ridership has been about 700,000 and typical weekday bus ridership has been about 444,000 for the month.
