Metro’s chief operating officer for bus to host online chat this Friday

Metro’s online chat redesigned for simplicity

Metro’s Chief Operating Officer for Bus Jack Requa will respond directly to questions about Metrobus-related issues during an online chat this Friday, April 7, when he hosts "Metro LunchTalk Online"--a live hour-long chat from noon to 1 p.m. Mr. Requa will answer questions, take suggestions and talk about issues related to Metrobus.

Metro customers who log onto Metro LunchTalk Online will see a new streamlined look for the forum, designed to simplify the process of submitting questions. Viewers are no longer required to register to participate in the chat. This feature will make public participation easier. To view or participate in this and future chats, visit the new link at

http://www.wmata.com/chat/chatsList.cfm or via Metro’s homepage at www.metroopensdoors.com. And for more information on the new chat system, see the page’s "Welcome and Instructions" link.

Typically in Metro chats, more questions and comments are received than can be answered in the available time. As many questions as possible will be answered during the hour-long sessions.

An archive of the previous online chats also is posted on the web site. People without Internet access can call Metro’s Customer Service Office at 202-637-1328 to request a transcript.
