Washington Nationals mascot Screech to visit Metrorail stations on May 2


Screech and the Nationals encourage fans to take Metro to the game

Washington Nationals mascot Screech will greet morning commuters at five Metrorail stations on Tuesday, May 2.

Screech will ride Metrorail from 7 to 9 a.m., making stops at Metro Center, Farragut West, Farragut North, McPherson Square and Rosslyn stations to meet fans, distribute baseball schedules and encourage baseball fans to take Metro to see the Nationals at RFK Stadium.

This season, the Nationals and Metro have designed a joint promotion to get baseball fans to take Metrorail and Metrobus to RFK Stadium. Fans can take the Blue or Orange lines to the Stadium-Armory Metrorail station or Metrobus routes D6, 96, 97 or B2 to the stadium.
