Metrorail Service Fully Restored

The Federal Triangle Metrorail station reopened at 12:15 p.m. after flooding caused two stations to close this morning. The Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter Metrorail station reopened at 9:30 a.m. Metrobus and MetroAccess vehicles continue to be impacted by the flooded roadways, causing a few delays in areas of high water.

Water receded between the Braddock Road and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport Metrorail stations and service was restored between those stations at 8:30 a.m.

There were 76 free shuttle buses assisting passengers at the Gallery Place-Chinatown, Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter, L’Enfant Plaza, McPherson Square, Metro Center, Federal Triangle and Smithsonian Metrorail stations.
