More parking opens up at Metro’s Vienna/Fairfax-GMU Rail station
It will now be easier for people to park at the Vienna/Fairfax-GMU Metrorail station. Beginning tomorrow, 180 spaces at the north parking garage will reopen after being closed for about a year and a half for repairs. Rehabilitation work at the garage involved structural, drainage, and stairwell upgrades, as well as repaving.
The garage is four-levels and consists of 1,881 parking spaces. As part of the rehabilitation, 10 new disabled-accessible parking spaces were added to the structure.
