Holiday Transit Schedules for New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31, 2006), and New Year’s Day (Jan. 1, 2007)
On Sunday, December 31, 2006 (New Year’s Eve), Metrorail will operate on a Sunday schedule (7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.). Metrobus will operate on a Sunday schedule and MetroAccess will operate on a weekday schedule (5:30 a.m. - 2:00 a.m.).
On Monday, January 1, 2007 (New Year’s Day), Metrorail will operate on a Sunday schedule (7:00 a.m. to midnight). Metrobus will operated on a Sunday schedule and MetroAccess will operate on a weekday schedule (5:30 a.m. - midnight). Parking at all transit authority-operated lots will be free, reduced fares will be in effect all day, and bicyclists will be allowed to transport their bicycles on Metrorail.

1. RideOn will operate on a Sunday schedule and extend selected routes to match Metrorail schedule.
2. DASH will operate additional service in Old Town until 1:00 a.m. for First Night Alexandria celebration.
