Metrobus Service Changes in Maryland Begin December 31

 Several service changes on Metrobus will be implemented on four lines in Maryland beginning December 31. The changes are in response to customer requests and will improve service reliability and improve transfer connections between buses and trains.

C2, C4 Greenbelt-Twinbrook Line
Rush hour frequency of the combined C2 and C4 buses will be every five minutes in the mornings between University Boulevard and Riggs Road and Wheaton station and every 6 ½ minutes in the afternoons between Wheaton station and University Boulevard and Riggs Road.

R12 Kenilworth Avenue-New Carrollton Line
The weekday scheduled will be adjusted to reflect new travel times.

K6 New Hampshire Avenue-Maryland Line
On Saturday nights, an additional bus will leave White Oak shopping center at 12:09 a.m. going to Fort Totten station.

Z13 Greencastle-Briggs Chaney Express Line
The 8:17 a.m. bus from Silver Spring station going to Greencastle Park & Ride lot will be discontinued.
