Weekend track maintenance to affect Metro's Blue Line

Blue Line customers should add 30 minutes of time this weekend

Track maintenance on the Blue Line this weekend will cause inbound and outbound trains to take turns sharing one track. Customers should add 30 minutes of time to their trips.

Blue Line Track Maintenance

Metrorail customers traveling between the Stadium-Armory and Addison Road-Seat Pleasant Metrorail stations should add at least 30 minutes of travel time for their trips because Metro will be replacing floating slabs, the concrete support structures underneath the tracks. Trains will share one track between these locations from 10 p.m., Friday, July 24, to closing (midnight) on Sunday, July 26.
