Metrobus soutbound route L2 to be rerouted for The White House Farmers' Market

Detour to occur every Thursday through October 29

Southbound Metrobus route L2 (Connecticut Ave line) will be detoured every Thursday from 1 to 8 p.m., beginning today through October 29, for The White House Farmers’ Market.

The southbound L2 will operate its regular route to H Street and Vermont Ave., NW, and then continue on H Street, then make a left on 15th Street, NW, a left on Eye Street, NW, and a right on 15th Street, NW, and then continue its regular route to the McPherson Square Metrorail station.

While operating on the detour, the L2 will not miss any bus stops.

On an average weekday, the L1, L2, and L4 (Connecticut Ave line) carries 4,200 people.
