Foggy Bottom-GWU Metrorail station has reopened following a report of a suspicious package near the train station

Station had been closed for one hour

The Foggy Bottom-GWU Metrorail station reopened at 3:33 p.m., one hour after a report of a suspicious package outside the rail station.

At the request of the DC Metropolitan Police, the Foggy Bottom-GWU Metrorail station closed at 2:30 p.m. Blue and Orange Line trains passed through the station but did not stop to drop off or pick up riders.
