SmarTrip® Regional Customer Service Center telephone system outage planned


Phone lines and voicemail will be temporarily inoperable

There will be a SmarTrip® Regional Customer Service Center (RCSC) voicemail outage on Saturday, October 17th, due to planned maintenance work on the phone system. Customers will not be able leave a voicemail message when dialing 1-888-762-7874.

RCSC phone lines will be unavailable for up to 10 hours starting at 6 a.m. on October 17th. During the phone service outage, customers may send an email to smartrip@wmata.com to report lost, stolen or damaged SmarTrip® cards. The service requests will be responded to on the following business day.

Customers will be able to leave a voicemail message again on Saturday evening or may call to speak to a SmarTrip® representative during normal business hours, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday.
