Metrobus service suspended as of 8 p.m. Tuesday


Heavy snow fall creating treacherous road conditions

Metro officials began pulling Metrobus service off area roadways at about 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, as road conditions quickly deteriorated due to heavy snow fall across the region.

Bus operators were instructed to complete their bus routes and return to bus garages.

Metrobus service is expected to remain suspended through tomorrow, Feb. 10, due to hazardous road conditions.

Metrobus officials will be monitoring road conditions constantly with an eye toward expanding service levels when conditions improve.
