Weekend track maintenance on the Red and Blue lines 15 Metrobus routes detoured for weekend activities

Track maintenance on the Red and Blue lines this weekend (March 12-14) will cause inbound and outbound trains to take turns sharing one track. Customers should add 30 minutes to their trips. Additionally, 15 Metrobus lines will be detoured for weekend activities. Customers using these Metrobus lines should add additional time for their travel.

Red Line Track Maintenance

Metrorail customers traveling between the Fort Totten and Silver Spring Metrorail stations should add at least 30 minutes to their travel time because Metro will be making track circuit upgrades at the Takoma Metrorail station. Metrorail customers traveling between the Stadium-Armory and Addison Road-Seat Pleasant Metrorail stations should add at least 30 minutes to their travel time to allow Metro to replace concrete slabs underneath the rails.
