Metro Transit Police investigate stabbing

Two men injured Monday outside of Georgia Ave-Petworth station

The Metro Transit Police Department (MTPD) is investigating a stabbing that took place at approximately 10 p.m. Monday, April 12, outside of the Georgia Ave-Petworth Metrorail station.

Two men were stabbed near the street-level elevator at the station and transported to a local hospital. A 19-year-old male was treated and released last night. A 21-year-old man remains hospitalized.
