Event causes Saturday bus detours in D.C.
Charity walk to affect Metrobus service on 11 lines
Metrobuses will detour around Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, between 12th and 13th Streets from about 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 17, for the Walk for Lupus Now 5k.
The following routes and lines will be affected:
• Friendship Heights/Pennsylvania Avenue Line, Routes 32 and 36
• Naylor Road Station/Federal Triangle Line, Route 34
• Takoma Station/14th Street/L’Enfant Plaza Line, Route 54
• Takoma Station/11th Street/Federal Triangle Line, Route 64
• Silver Spring Station/Georgia Avenue/Archives Line, Route 70
• Silver Spring Station/Georgia Avenue/Half and O Street Line, Route 71
• Anacostia Station/Rhode Island Avenue Station Line, Route P6
• Silver Spring Station/16th Street/Federal Triangle Line, Route S2 and S4
• Deanwood Station/Southwest Washington/Archives Line, Route V8
Metrobus customers can use the Next Bus information service to find out when buses will arrive at a given stop, by logging onto Metro’s Web site or calling 202-637-7000 and saying, “Next Bus.”
