Cracked rail near Naylor Road Metrorail station slows Green Line service

Customers can anticipate delays of up to 20 minutes

A cracked rail discovered on the inbound track at 7:28 a.m. near the Naylor Road Metrorail station is causing morning rush hour delays on the Green Line.

Green Line trains are sharing a single track between the Naylor Road and Southern Avenue Metrorail stations. Riders may experience delays up to 20 minutes.

Metro expects delays to continue throughout the remainder of the morning rush hour on the Green Line.
