Red Line resumes normal service

Red Line no longer single-tracking

Service along the Red Line has resumed on both tracks with normal service between Judiciary Square and New York Ave-Florida Ave-Gallaudet U Metrorail stations after crews repaired an area of track near Union Station that had been damaged when a piece of track equipment derailed near Union Station early this morning, Wednesday, May 26.
