Red Line resumes normal service Monday night


Man jumped onto the tracks during rush hour

Normal service resumed along the Red Line this evening (June 28) at about 9:40 p.m. after a man jumped to the tracks during the height of rush hour at the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metrorail station. The man, who died, was not struck by a train.

Riders experienced major delays as a result of the incident, which began at 6:10 p.m.
