Metro expands sales office hours at headquarters

Downtown sales office to open an hour earlier to improve customer service

The Metro sales office at Metro Headquarters, 600 Fifth Street, NW, will open one hour earlier to improve customer service and convenience starting Monday, August 2.

The new hours of operation will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday to allow customers to purchase Metrorail farecards and passes, SmarTrip® cards, Metrobus passes and student farecards.

Metro operates five sales offices. In addition to Metro headquarters, sales offices are located at the Metro Center and Anacostia Metrorail stations, the Pentagon Transit Center just outside the Pentagon Metrorail station, and the Northern Metrobus Garage. Hours vary by location. For more information, please visit http://www.wmata.com/fares/purchase/where.cfm.
