Metrobuses to detour on Route 64 this weekend

Dedication ceremony will force Metrobuses to take alternate route Saturday, Aug. 7

Metrobus customers will experience a detour on Route 64 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, in the District of Columbia due to a dedication ceremony.

The “Lil’ Benny Alley Dedication” will force Metrobuses to reroute from 11th Street, NW, onto Vermont Avenue, NW, between T and U streets.

Metrobus customers can use the Next Bus information service to find out when buses will arrive at a given stop, by logging onto Metro’s website or calling 202-637-7000 and saying, “Next Bus.”
