Metrobus prepared for rolling detours on five routes tomorrow

Routes might be bypassed due to congestion caused by community activities

Metrobus customers may experience possible rolling detours on five Metrobus routes on Saturday, Aug. 28 in the District of Columbia due to area events.

Routes 70, 71, 32, 36 and 96 may experience rolling detours beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday due to a rally that will begin on the grounds of Howard University.

Metrobus customers can use the Next Bus information service to find out when buses will arrive at a given stop, by logging onto Metro’s website at metropensdoors.com or calling 202-637-7000 and saying, “Next Bus.”
