Farragut North Temporarily Closed

Shuttle buses available at Farragut North, Metro Center, Dupont Circle

The Farragut North Metrorail station was closed temporarily at about noon today (Jan. 15) after a body was discovered on the tracks. Trains are passing through the station by taking turns sharing one track (single-tracking) through the area. Free shuttle buses are available at Farragut North, Metro Center and Dupont Circle to help get riders through the affected area.

Metro officials are conducting an investigation of the incident.
