Metrobus routes detour in D.C. Friday, Sunday


Local activities require temporary rerouting of buses

Chinese New Year’s activities and a roadway construction project in the District of Columbia will cause Metrobuses to detour seven routes this weekend.

Routes 90, 92 and 93 will detour from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 4, at Eight Street, NE, between G and H streets due to road construction on H Street.

Routes 70, 80, P6 and X2 will detour from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 6, around the 600 block of H Street, NW, due to the annual Chinese New Year’s Festival and Parade.

Metrobus customers can use the Next Bus information service to find out when buses will arrive at a given stop, by logging onto Metro’s website at metropensdoors.com or calling 202-637-7000 and saying, “Next Bus.”
