Metrobus routes detour in D.C., Arlington this weekend

Buses will temporarily reroute around area races

Metrobuses will detour several routes in the District of Columbia and Arlington, Va., this weekend due to area races.

Routes 10A, 16G and 16P will detour from 7 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12, around South Joyce Street and Army-Navy Drive in Arlington due to the Love the Run You’re With 5k Race.

Routes 32, 34, 36 and 96 will detour from 2 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 13, around First Street, SE, between East Capitol Street and Independence Avenue, SE, in the District of Columbia due to the Cupid’s Undie Run 5K Race.

Metrobus customers can use the Next Bus information service to find out when buses will arrive at a given stop, by logging onto Metro’s website at metropensdoors.com or calling 202-637-7000 and saying, “Next Bus.”
