Metro to temporarily close the Union Station Massachusetts Ave. entrance at 8 p.m. Sunday, March 13 and 20 due to construction


First St. entrance to remain open

Metro will temporarily close the Union Station Metrorail station entrance at Massachusetts Ave N.E. at 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 13 and March 20 due to the rehabilitation of the station manager’s kiosk in mezzanine area of the station entrance. The entrance will reopen the following morning at 5 a.m. on Monday, March 14 and 21 respectively.

The entrance at First St., N.E. will remain open.

To alert customers of the entrance closure, signs will be placed at the entrance and e-alerts will be issued. Public address system announcements will be made.
