Metrobus routes detour in D.C., Arlington this weekend


Buses will temporarily reroute around construction, special events

Metrobuses will detour several routes in the District of Columbia and Arlington, Va., this weekend due to construction and special events.

Routes 91, 92 and 93 will detour from 7 a.m., Saturday, March 12 to noon on Sunday, March 13 around 8th St., N.E., between H and G Sts., due to road construction.

Routes 4B 5A and 38B will detour from 7 to 11 a.m., on Saturday, March 12, around Wilson Boulevard between N. Veitch St., and N. Court House Road in Arlington, VA, due to a race.

Routes 32, 34, 36, 54, 64, 70, 96, P6, S2, S4 and V8 will detour from 5 a.m. to noon on Sunday, March 13, around Pennsylvania Ave., N.W., between 12th and 14th Sts., for the 23rd annual St. Patrick’s Day 8k Race.

Routes 5A, 32, 34, 36, 54, 64, 70, 96, P6, S2, S4 and V8 will detour from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Sunday, March 13, around Constitution Ave. N.W., between 3rd and 17th Sts., for the 40th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
