Metro General Manager/CEO statement on employee parking

Sarles: Employees required to pay public parking fees

Metro General Manager and Chief Executive Officer Richard Sarles said that the practice of some Metro employees avoiding parking fees at Huntington Metrorail station is not only unacceptable, but a disservice to both customers and other Metro employees. Sarles said that the Metro Transit Police Department will issue citations to employees found violating the parking policy. In addition, those in violation will be addressed separately. Tomorrow, a reminder to all employees emphasizing Metro’s requirement to pay public parking fees will be issued.
