Metrobus routes detour this weekend

Buses will temporarily reroute around special events

Metrobuses will detour several routes this weekend due to special events in the area

Routes 9S and 23A will detour from 6 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. on Friday, April 22, around Crystal Drive between 12th and 27th Sts., in Crystal City, Arlington, VA, for the Crystal Run 5K.

Routes 4A, 16B, 16F and 16J detour from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, April 22, around Knollwood Drive between Lake Street and Glenmore Drive and Glen Carlyn Drive between Knollwood Drive and Munson Hill Road in Falls Church, VA, for a church procession.

Routes 5A, 32, 34, 36, 54, 64, 70, P6, S2, S4, and V8 detour from 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, around Pennsylvania Ave., N.W., between 12th and 14th Sts., N.W. for the Race to Stop the Silence.

Routes G2 and G8 detour from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 24, around P St. between 7th and 11th Sts., N.W. for a special event.
